Mukwano Celebrates Independence with Golfers

Mukwano Group of Companies celebrated Uganda’s 53rd Independence Anniversary with the golf fraternity at the Palm Valley Golf and Country Club on 9th October.

For the fourth successive year Mukwano co-sponsored the Independence Golf Tournament with Crown Beverages.

The 120 golfers invited from Kampala, Entebbe, Jinja, Rwanda and Netherlands enjoyed the daylong tournament which was crowned with a grand prize-giving dinner. Besides other prizes 24 Mukwano gift hampers and trophies were handed out to golfers.

Olympic Gold Medalist and AQUA SIPI Mineral Water brand Ambassador Stephen Kiprotich who was in jovial mood granted photo opportunities, signed autographs and cracked jokes with golfers.

Entebbe Golf Club member Enock Nuwagaba and Ugandan People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) golfer captain Evelyn Asiimwe topped the men and women categories respectively.
