Mukwano Delights Primary Schools With Footballs and Free Nomi Sachets

27 July 2015 – 9:00amMukwano Group has set out to bring joy to the lives of children through the Nomi National Schools as corporate social responsibility initiative.

Mukwano is giving back to the community through donation of five footballs to each of the selected 125 schools throughout the country.

By mid July 80 schools in Kampala, Mukono, Wakiso Jinja, Iganga, Mbale, Tororo, Soroti, Lira, Gulu and Arua had benefitted from the programme. The all inclusive programme has covered Government, private and religious founded schools.

Mukwano Group Brand Manager Denis Ojiambo who runs the project also gives pupils washing tips and free sachets of Nomi Detergent Powders to try out the product.

“At Mukwano, we know that you need to have a health body and that’s why we have provided these balls for you to keep your bodies fit and therefore healthy. Mukwano is a Ugandan company which cares about the health of Ugandan children,” Mukwano General Manager–Sales and Marketing Mr.Sangam told cheerful children at Kibuli Demonstration School.

In all the schools girls have exhibited as much interest in soccer as their male counterparts. The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Mukwano and pledged continued loyalty to our products.
