Mukwano Gives 450 Cartons of Aqua Sipi Water for 2016 Athletics Season

Mukwano Group of Companies has maintained its support to Uganda Athletics Federation (UAF) with the donation of 450 cartons of AQUA SIPI Mineral Water.

Mukwano Human Resource Manager, Ms. Patience Agaba announced the company’s sponsorship for the 2016 Uganda Athletics Championship at a press conference at UAF office in Kampala this morning. UAF President Mr. Dominic Otuchet expressed gratitude to Mukwano for continuous support to athletics.

We are glad to extend our relationship with the sport beyond our well-known association with Olympic Gold Medalist Stephen Kiprotich who is the AQUA SIPI Brand Ambassador.

As a local Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company, we are happy to continuously play a role in the development of sports by rewarding champions like Kiprotich by engaging him as the brand ambassador for our AQUA SIPI,” Agaba said.

“We also play a role in efforts to create more champions through the national championship which we support and better still, we sponsor the Kiprotich Legacy Camp that nurtures young talent in Sebei sub-region,” she added.

We have enjoyed a good working relationship with UAF for the fourth year running and expect the same in future as we develop the sport together.

Mukwano will like in the previous season avail water to upcountry athletics events through our nationwide distribution network.

Mukwano recognizes that it is a crucial year in which you are preparing for the Rio Olympic Games and we would like to extend our best wishes to you.

We are happy AQUA SIPI brand ambassador Kiprotich will step out to defend his title at the time we have other Ugandan medal prospects in the marathon and other races,” Agaba stated.
