Mukwano Supports Maternal Care in Nsambya Hospital

Motherhood champion Mrs. Catherine Ruhweza, popularly known as Mama Tendo, conducted a neonatal care education session sponsored by Mukwano.
“The child mortality rate in Uganda is quite high which is the reason Mukwano invited Mama Tendo to conduct a child survival sensitization session for mothers in this hospital today. We decided to pay attention to neonatal care as one of our numerous Corporate Social Responsibility activities and I hope this initiative will save lives,” Mukwano Human Resource Manager Patience Agaba remarked.
“With proper neonatal care babies can survive the first four weeks which are very crucial. I also acknowledge the commendable work done by medical personnel in this hospital,” Agaba said.
All mothers in the Maternal Ward were presented with gift hampers from Mukwano the Mukwano HR Manager.
Each Mukwano gift hamper received had a baby bath tub, Nomi detergent sachet, Meditex Anti-bacterial Soap, Sunseed Oil, Mukwano Herbal Jelly and Aqua Sipi water.
